Freckles gone? Legs covered in scales? Pores big enough to fall into? Same. Time to rediscover and rely on some of my never-fail products that work as something of a reset button for winter-parched hair, skin and body. Stay in, switch off and rest easy as these potions work their magic.

Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser
This thick, dewy cream is both light and rich all at once. As with all Liz Earle products, it’s rooted in natural science and is your ultimate day-to-day moisturiser especially if your skin is breaking out or feeling a little more sensitive than usual.
Chantecaille Detox Clay Mask
If you're having a bout of bumpy, under-the-skin spots thanks to hormones, lack of sleep or just lack of luck, putting this on and letting it steam in while in a hot bath, will make your skin feel a million times better if you have a big event or party to go to. As with any clay mask, it’s detoxifying and moisturising all at once and goes on like a dream.
Santa Maria Novella Rose Water
The purest, cleanest rose water you’ll get your hands on and the perfect calming toner to put on after cleansing and before moisturiser. If you must use face wipes go over your face afterwards with this for a purer, less-synthetic polish.
Body Shop Vanilla Chai Body Butter
You might not have stepped into the body shop for a while after spending most of your teens in there shopping for body sprays and shea lip balms. This one smells like a sweet Chain latte AKA good enough to eat.
Ouai Hair Oil
This brand is brilliant. It’s light so never weighs hair down but super nourishing and free from any nasties.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair
If you’re anywhere from your mid/late twenties to early thirties, it might be time to start investing in one good quality anti-ageing product. Don’t worry, nothing intense or radical, but something that just boosts your current skincare routine and safeguards against everyday wear, tear and pollution. The foil mask is great too if you really want to soak in the stuff.
Eve Lom Cleanser
The ultimate oil/balm cleanser. Apply to a dry face, rinse a muslin cloth under really hot water and hold on the face for three seconds and repeat three times. Then use the cloth to remove all the excess cleanser and finish with a cold muslin cloth over the face make everything zing.
Happy washing, rinsing, dabbing, spraying and combing people. Sometimes we all need to feel good from the outside in and it starts with great products that make the best of the best bits of you.
